Vehicle Description This Land Cruiser was manufactured May 1979.
The exterior body color is beige #464.
The top is white #T12.
It has an original inline six cylinder F2 engine.
It has been driven 66300 miles.
It has factory power steering, factory tinted windows (rear) and factory air conditioning.
The air conditioning system has been upgraded to R134A.
The previous owner installed a Downey/Holley 350 carburetor conversion.
There was also a 1975 distributer w/vacuum advance installed at that time.
The exhaust manifold has been replaced with stainless steel headers.
During the total off frame body restoration, all body components (and miscellaneous parts) except the tub, were tank dipped & epoxy primed inside and out.
The tub was removed from the frame and sand blasted before refinishing.
The frame and running gear was sand blasted and painted.
3M undercoating was installed on the tub before it was put back on the frame.
Greaseable shackles & pins, rear assist springs and rear lift blocks have been installed.
The wheels are 15 and it has 30 tires.
All of the bolts, nuts, screws and pins were replaced with stainless steel.
All of the hinge bushings have been replaced with brass bushings.
All of the engine and heater hoses have been replaced.
The distributer ignition has been upgraded to an electronic ignition system.
The clutch, heater core, master & slave cylinders have been rebuilt.
The transmission and transfer case have been opened and checked.
The main engine/transmission seal has been replaced.
It has a Retro Sound AM/FM radio.
To the best of my knowledge the engine has never been opened.
No work was done on the engine, axels, exhaust or drive shaft.
It does not have a horn or smog pump.
It has not seen rain, snow or gravel roads since it was restored.
Needless to say it has always been stored inside.
I am the 3rd owner and have had it since 1999.
