The University of North Dakota seeks an entry level assistant swimming coach. The University of North Dakota is North Dakota's most comprehensive research university and the primary center in the state for professional education and training.
Position Description:
Assist in all aspects of NCAA Division I Men's and Women's swimming program, promote and foster a positive team environment, appropriate behavior, and sportsmanship by team members. Promote the physical and mental well-being of all program participants.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, assisting the head coach with water and strength workout management, recruitment of prospective student-athletes, meet management duties, fundraising and alumni events and assisting with the lifeguard staff and pool management.
Applicant must have a commitment to compliance and to follow all NCAA, conference and UND rules and regulations. Must provide support and encouragement and ensure the safety and well-being of our student-athletes, including a valid driver's license. Other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree
Strong organizational skills
Competent computer & Internet skills required for Word, Excel and Hy-Tek software.
Must possess a passion for learning and coaching colligate swimming. This position is ideal for the person looking to start a career as a collegiate swimming coach.
