These endeavors have been around for centuries and will continue to be a vital part of the global economy. We currently have Forklift Operator positions available at our facility in Grand Forks, ND. Summary This position will ensure that the product is transported from storage or receiving area to its destination in a manner consistent with safety, quality and production goals. The Grand Forks facility processes a wide variety of frozen potato and sweet potato products for customers around the world. The Grand Forks facility operates 24hrs per day/7 days a week. Responsibilities
Production - Forklift Operator/Line Service assists in all areas of the plant in the production and packaging of French fries and preformed potato products. Supplies packaging with proper cases and paper; moves product totes throughout the facility and freezers; transports finished cases and totes to their final destination; operates trash compactor and prepares the container for pickup.
Distribution - Forklift Talley Operator transports pallets of finished goods from receiving area or storage freezer to their final destination of Semi trucks. Requirements
Applicants must be available to work any shift (8AM-4PM SS off, 4PM-12AM MT off, 12AM-8AM TF off, or rotating schedule of 6 shifts per week).
Pre-employment drug testing and background checks are required.
Must have good communication and computer skills.
Must have math and computer skills.
Forklift experience preferred, but on-the-job training is provided.
Must be able to perform activities such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, stair and ladder climbing on a daily basis.
Must be able to lift a case of French fries - with a maximum of 40 lbs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
