The Olive Ann Hotel Core Values Excellence Perseverance Integrity Collaboration SUMMARY As a House Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas of the hotel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Clean designated areas including, but not limited to, restrooms, public areas, hallways, stairwells, elevators, offices and banquet/meeting/conference rooms.
Perform a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning/waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash.
Perform deep cleaning tasks and special projects (for example:
mattress flipping, furniture moves, etc.
), as needed Assist in delivering guest requests and in cleaning guest rooms, as needed.
Stock and maintain supply rooms, as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Collaborative attitude.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to food, safety and sanitation.
Ability to work proactively and independently while fostering a workplace based on teamwork.
Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, squatting and lifting extended periods of time.
Ability to read, to answer phones, to write emails and other correspondence.
Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
