Auction Support Specialist Join the Excitement at our Fast-Growing Company! Resource Auction specializes in selling large farm machinery, construction equipment, transportation equipment, and other personal property.
We also provide services in estate auctions, collector equipment and vehicle auctions, recreational auctions, and real estate auctions.
Services provided are through live/simulcast auctions or timed online auctions.
The organization is headquartered out of Grand Forks, ND.
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Auction Support Specialist to join our dynamic team.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Assist with all aspects of auctions as needed by the company; Manage off-site storage spaces, to include Warehouse; Meet with buyers when load-out assistance is needed; Assist with various 'handyman' duties for the company; Ensure company vehicles and assets are properly maintained; Manage company inventory with proprietary software; and Any other work-related duties as assigned by company.
High School Diploma or equivalent Requirements:
Must possess excellent customer service skills and willingness to go the extra mile Great attention to detail and highly organized Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand all-day and work in extreme temperatures Regularly lift and move items daily ranging from 10lb-50lb, occasionally lift or move items weighing more that 100lbs, with the assistance of a team member Specific vision abilities are required for this position - including distant, close, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus ability Basic computer skills/ data entry is required Must be dependable and have excellent attendance Bilingual is a plus! Education &
Experience:
High School Diploma or higher 1-2 years of warehouse experience preferred Strong knowledge of a variety of heavy equipment and/or farming practices.
Experience with equipment such as loaders and forklifts.
Customer Service experience a plus Drivers license required.
Skills:
Organized and able to coordinate multiple events and activities.
Task orientated with time management skills.
Able to successfully meet deadlines.
Leadership skills and team management skills.
Clear and effective communication.
Shows good character and integrity in decision making.
